Why Donate?

Meet 13-year-old cancer survivor Zach.

When Zack received a transfusion during his cancer treatment, he told his mom, Debbi, about his wish to meet the donor whose blood he received. She suggested he send The Blood Center a note of thanks to all blood donors.

"I think it's a great thing for people to help other people they do not even know," Zach said.
